Didier De Smet
Didier combines 24 years experience across big four companies EY and PwC and since 2018 LDS Advisory. Over that period, he accumulated a deep financial expertise in audit and since 2000 specifically in transaction diligence and broader M&A advice. Before co-founding LDS Advisory in 2018 he was partner in transaction diligence at EY.
Kristof Lybaert
In the past 16 years Kristof has developed deep technical expertise in transactional and value advice. Following his broad expertise, he is today able to support different companies in their transformation through strategic focus, and financial and operational optimisation.
Michael Bocken
In the past 11 years, Michaël has developed technical expertise in transactional advice, due diligence, business modelling and performance management. He is able to combine his strong financial skills with strong IT and business knowledge.
Sebastiaan Steukers
Sebastiaan has been active in thetransaction industry for over 4 years, developing skills in due diligence, business / financial modelling, valuations and performance management. Before joining LDS Advisory, he worked as a senior consultant at PwC's Transactions practice.
Ellen Derveaux
Prior to joining LDS in 2019, Ellen worked for c. five years at EY’s Transactions department, where she mainly focused on financial due diligence. At LDS Ellen has worked on different transactions, both in going concerns and distress, working on different aspects of a deal cycle (due diligence, business plan and valuation analysis).
Ann-Sophie lannoo
Ann-Sophie supports in transactional and performance work across different sectors and has gained experience in valuations, due diligence and the building of Power BI dashboards. Prior to LDS Advisory, she worked at EY, where she acquired a solid basis of accounting knowledge.
Ben Reynders
Ben combines more than 11 years of experience across PwC Brussels PwC Boston, US and since 2019 at LDS Advisory. Over that period, Ben has developed expertise in financial due diligence and broader M&A advice. Ben's flexibility together with his pragmatic and problem-solving attitude is appreciated by his clients.
Laurence Pélerin
Over the past 12 years, Laurence accumulated deep financial expertise with PwC and LDS. She has a wide financial profile with deep expertise in valuations, business planning and financal modelling. Furthermore, she gained experience in buy-and sell-side due diligence work making her a holistic financial profile with a clear business view.
Bart Uytterhoeven
Bart Uytterhoeven combines 14 years of experience in financial and M&A related advice at PwC and LDS with operational expertise in a dynamic PE owned corporate environment in transformation where he acted as CFO. At LDS Bart focusses on performance and transformation related projects.
Dimitri Claes
Dimitri is overall recognised for his broad financial and operational expertise. He has deep transactional experience having focussed on buy and sell side financial due diligence and business plan reviews for a wide variety of corporate and private equity clients. In addition he gained operational experience through his role as CFO and HR responsible for a Belgian PE portfolio company.
Joël Vandebroek
Joël holds over 1 year of experience within transactions where he mainly focussed on due diligence.
He studied applied economics at the KU Leuven where he obtained a master’s degree in international business, strategy and innovation. Joël obtained a second master's degree in financial management at Vlerick Business School.
Charline Halbart
Prior to joining LDS Advisory early 2021, Charline worked as a senior auditor for Deloitte, where she gained experience across several industries. She holds a Master's degree in Banking and Asset management from HEC-Liège and is native French speaking, fluent in English and has working knowledge of Dutch.
Nick De Smedt
Nick has been active as a finance professional for over five years. Prior to joining LDS Advisory, he worked as a business controller in a multinational appliance producer.
Earlier, he spent three years as a senior consultant at PwC's Transactions Services practice, developing skills in due diligence, business modelling, valuations and performance management.
Wendy Dedobbeleer
For 7 years, Wendy has developed her experience in office operations, including corporate communication, event management, administrative and financial support. Prior to joining LDS in July 2021 as Office Manager, Wendy worked for a key player in the construction industry. During this period, she was given responsibility over the management of projects thanks to her strong organizational skills and desire to grow.
Stéfanie Renders
Stéfanie has seven years of experience in finance. She worked 1 year at Groupe Louis Delhaize as a financial and M&A analyst, dealing with valuation, financial analysis, and market research. Before that, she worked 2 years at BDO, developing her skills in valuation and business planning. She was involved in projects across different industries for small and mid-cap companies. Prior this experience in corporate finance, she worked in the market finance as a portfolio manager for private clients.
Leen Lenaerts
In the past 15 years, Leen developed a strong expertise in finance, controlling and transactional advice. She combines her financial skills with strong reporting skills.
In 2006, Leen started her career at PwC in the audit department. From 2008 to 2014 she worked within the M&A department, where she focused on buy and sell side financial due diligence for a wide variety of corporate and private equity clients, active in different types of sectors.
Raphaël Roubaud
Raphaël Roubaud joined the team in 2022, freshly out of the Catholic University of Louvain with a business engineering education specialised in international finances.
Through an internship in a Dutch PE fund at Triodos Investment Management, he benefits from experience in impact measurement and management, market research and valuation.
Emiel Konings
Emiel joined LDS in October 2022 after completing a 3-month traineeship. Before starting at LDS, Emiel did a 4-month audit internship at EY and acted as a teaching assistant at Maastricht University for Corporate Governance, Accounting & Financial Accounting and Finance.
During his studies at Maastricht University, he gained experience abroad at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) & Grenoble Ecole de Management (France).
Olivier Gios
Olivier combines over 13 years of experience across international tax consultancy firms and has accumulated a deep tax expertise in the fields of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, tax due diligence and acquisition structuring.
Dieter Dilliën
Dieter has over 10 years of experience in a major law firm and Big4 where he worked in a leading role on major transactions on tax due diligence, acquisition and financing and fund structuring. Dieter has vast experience in the tax aspects of the Real Estate industry (share and asset deal, RE funds (FIIS/GVBF), complex (re)development projects, PPP, …).
Philippe De Cock
Philippe has over 12 years of experience in corporate tax and has serviced various types of national and multinational businesses. Philippe brings a vast amount of experience in the fields of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, restructuring, tax due diligence and acquisition structuring.
Charlotte Flückiger
Charlotte obtained an Advanced Master in Tax law at the University of Antwerp in 2020. She joined the company in August 2020. In the meantime, Charlotte gained relevant experience in corporate tax law and M&A tax law. She is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in English.
Karolien Raets
Prior to joining LDS as Operations Manager (Tax) in 2022, Karolien worked for thirteen years in the translation industry. She will use her operational skills and experience from being the business unit manager of the Belgian branch of a multinational key player in the industry to assist the LDS team and streamline internal processes and workflows.
Nils Van Dyck
Nils Van Dyck joined the team in 2022, after 4,5 years of work experience at PwC. In the past years, Nils gained relevant experience in the fields of tax restructuring, tax due diligence and real estate fund structuring. He serviced various types of national and multinational businesses. Nils holds a Master in Tax Law and a Master in Law. He is a native Dutch speaker and fluent in French and English
Manuel Van Der Veken
Prior to joining LDS in 2022, Manu worked for 23 years at PwC as a VAT specialist. He has vast experience in the design and implementation of VAT structures and due diligence as well as VAT rulings and VAT audit support.
Manu holds a Master in Law and Master in Tax Law degree. He was guest speaker at a.o. Antwerp Management School and the Belgian Banking Association. He is a native Dutch speaker and fluent in French and English.
Marine Malherbe
Over the past 6 years, Marine has gained experience in accounting, finance, and due diligence.
Before joining LDS in January 2023, she worked 3,5 years within the Transaction Services team at Deloitte where she gained experience in both sell and buy side due diligence across different industries. She also worked in audit for 2 years and gained solid accounting skills during this first work experience.
Bram Bulen
Prior to joining LDS in January 2023, Bram kickstarted his career at EY in audit.
As a senior auditor he developed a strong basis of accounting across a variety of industries.
Bram graduated with a master’s degree in Finance in 2019 and a specialized master in Taxation in 2020, both at KU Leuven. He is fluent in Dutch and English.
Jens De Witte
Prior to joining LDS, Jens completed a 4-month internship at the M&A boutique VDP and a research internship at the RegTech company Regnology. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics with a specialization in Corporate Finance pursued by an advanced Master' in Banking and Finance, both from the University of Ghent.
During his education Jens developed a robust foundation of topics such as valuation and financial analysis.
