Ellen Derveaux

Ellen started working in 2014 and has since focused on financial due diligence. Over the years, she worked on different transactions both in going concern and distress. Ellen expanded her expertise with different aspects of a transaction, such as business planning, valuations and independent business reviews as part of restructurings.

Prior to joining LDS in 2019, Ellen worked for c. five years at EY’s Transactions department. She worked on a variety of buy and sell side projects for both corporate and private equity clients. She’s been involved in deals across various industries from manufacturing to retail and professional services, including specific sectors such as nursing homes, interim staffing and the food industry.

Ellen holds a Master in applied economics from the University of Leuven.

She is pragmatic and focuses on quickly identifying key drivers of a business to ensure that through a flexible approach, she’s able to deliver on the clients’ specific needs.

Languages: She is fluent in Dutch and English and business proficient in French. Ellen has limited working knowledge of Spanish.
